Level One Teacher Training

Attending the Yoga Flow training program was life altering. The amount of knowledge and experience the instructors shared was amazing. I would never have felt comfortable teaching others without the deep knowledge and understanding gained from this program. Most importantly, I learned that you never stop learning and that a teaching certificate is just the beginning. I strongly recommend this immersive experience!

In Studio Training

Dominique and Michelle lead a very comprehensive, thorough, and fun program in Pittsburgh! I am so happy I learned their approach to yoga to always lead with the breath. I feel ready to teach based on their instruction and I feel ready to lead classes of multiple levels. One of the stand out features of their program is their attention to detail and form. I feel there is a huge emphasis on safety and properly executed postures. I have rarely observed this type of attention and care in other studios :)There is something really special about YogaFlow Pittsburgh that is rarely replicated at other studios and I'm proud to be a part of their crew.

Virtual Training

My experience completing teacher training with Yoga Flow far exceeded my expectations! It was an amazing program because it was well organized, supported the students, and covered so many yoga topics. Yoga Flow's teacher training provides teacher trainees the opportunity to build their confidence teaching yoga with a strong foundation and emphasis on keeping their students safe and growing in their own practice. The program was wonderful and I would highly recommend the Yoga Flow Pittsburgh teacher training program!!

Assisting - Totaling 20 hours

*These hours can be completed at the Yoga Flow studio or studios most convenient to you.

You will then be required to assist a Yoga Flow teacher for 2 classes a month. You have the option if sitting in the back of the room taking notes on the teachers cues or walking around and adjusting the students (or a little of both). Each class you assist will be counted as 2 hours.

Classes - Totaling 80 hours

*These hours can be completed at the Yoga Flow studio or studios most convenient to you.

Each 'teacher in training' is required to take 40 Yoga Flow classes within the 5 months. This equals roughly 2 classes per week during the 5 month training. You may take as many or as little classes a week to compliment your work schedule. It is required, however, that you have all 40 classes completed before you can receive your certificate. We have noticed that the trainees with the most success practiced twice a week or more. And we suggest the more, the better. All 40 classes over the 5 months course are included in the cost of tuition. Each of the 40 classes will be counted as 2 hours.
