I started yoga while in college to become a teacher. It helped me find community, comfort, and healing while living away from home. Yoga has helped me connect with my body and mind in new and powerful ways. My favorite part of yoga is how it helps me to slow down my very fast paced brain.
After I graduated and became a Special Ed. teacher, I decided to deepen my practice while connecting two of my passions, teaching and yoga. I hope my classes are a space of comfort and freedom, where people of all walks of life can come onto their mat, connect with themselves, feel silly sometimes, and leave feeling better than they came.
