Jess is a Pittsburgh native and began her yoga practice early by originally teaching herself from books and magazines. Once she found Yoga Flow and its amazing community, she became hooked and started regularly practicing at the studio. Jess loved how Yoga Flow classes are for everyone — yoga can mean challenging balancing poses or simply breathing in child’s pose! Yoga Flow creates an environment where you can truly make your practice your own.
In college, Jess encountered some serious health illnesses and it was yoga and breath work that helped her get her physical strength back and heal. After seeing what yoga could do for her body, mind and spirit, Jess was inspired to help others find that connection as well. Jess completed her 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training at Yoga Flow in early 2021. In 2022, she also completed a year-long program to start the process of being able to teach meditation as well. When off the mat, Jess can be found in nature hiking, lifting weights, reading or trying new healthy recipes and trends.
