Dominique's guided breath will take us into a deep meditative state. Inhaling & exhaling to the next level of the asana will help us release deep stagnant emotion energy that we have accumulated in our tissue. These obstructions in the energy channels can eventually lead to physical, emotional & spiritual disease.

Our hip openers are associated with each of the 7 Chakras starting at the Root to Crown. As we are guided through every inhale/exhale she will be telling which emotions is stored in that specific chakra. You will have moments of discomfort, sadness, anxiety, but once released you will feel sheer bliss...all in one posture.
Yin-Hip Opener postures are held three to five minutes at a time.
This type of practice complements a connective tissue response.... a slow, steady stretch. If you gently stretch connective tissue by holding a yin pose for an extended time, the body will respond by making those tissues a little longer and stronger-which is exactly what you want.
