Leslie began her yoga practice after realizing there was something missing in her life. She wanted to find a balance between physical strength and mindful meditation. After her first class at Yoga Flow Shadyside, she immediately knew she found her yoga home. With a twirling and dancing background, Leslie enjoys the added inspiration she pulls from music during class. But it was discovering the power of the Ujjayi breath - the discipline of focusing on the breath, allowing it to be the guide for each movement, and making space for new energy is what brings her to the mat. Learning to be fully present in each moment brings her closer to seeking that physical and spiritual balance.

Over time, her dedication and love for the practice grew stronger than she ever imagined. Wanting to share this love and energy with others, Leslie completed her 200 hour teacher training in 2016 with Yoga Flow and is beyond thrilled to not only be teaching in her hometown but also in her home studio. Leslie is forever grateful for the many past and present Yoga Flow instructors who continue to be endless fountains of love and inspiration. 

When she is not in the studio, Leslie enjoys traveling, music, and gazing up at the moon...
