Emily has enjoyed practicing yoga since she was a teenager, and she continued to explore a variety of styles throughout college.  Upon returning to Pittsburgh, she continued to practice on her own and at a variety of studios but struggled to find a yoga “home”.   Several years later, with yoga persisting as a positive and grounding force in Emily’s life, she explored the idea of becoming a yoga teacher.  After her first teacher training session with Dom and Michelle (and the other amazing 2014 teacher trainees), she knew it would be a great fit and completed the program to earn her RYT200 credentials.  Besides the obvious physical benefits, Emily relies on her yoga practice to clear her mind and lighten her spirit.  She is genuinely grateful and excited to have the opportunity to serve as a teacher at Yoga Flow and hopes to be able to pay forward some of the joy she has experienced from Yoga.
