This Myofascial Release workshop begins with an overview of the function and role of fascia. Fascia is the dense, tough tissue that surrounds muscles and bones. We will learn the role of fascia in our bodies and how to use the simple props to help us live a better, happy and healthier fascia.
Further we will examine the goals of myofascial release and what to avoid before moving into an all-levels class using a variety of props to facilitate myofascial release throughout the whole body - using tennis balls and blocks.
The ultimate goal of the Myofascial Release workshop is to focus on common trigger points. Myofascial release improves mobility, reducing tension and pressure in the musculoskeletal system
